Joseph Au

Joseph Au is a skilled veterinary nurse with extensive experience and commitment to professional development. He completed his Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2013 through Animal Industry Resources International. Joseph has since enhanced his expertise in emergency and critical care, and is registered as an RVN in both Australia and UK.

Joseph enhanced his expertise through the VetsNow CertVNECC program, gaining advanced emergency and critical care nursing skills. He also obtained certification in telemetry ECG monitoring to better assess and maintain patient health.

Joseph mentors fellow nurses and shares his expertise to improve patient care standards across the veterinary nursing profession, demonstrating his commitment to ongoing professional development.

Recently, Joseph developed a passion for FAST exams and veterinary POCUS (point-of-care ultrasound). He has sought training to incorporate ultrasound into routine examinations, attending numerous workshops and CPD experiences to enhance his practical expertise.

As the only trilingual RECOVER certified BLS/ALS Instructor in Hong Kong, he provides on-site Rescuer certification and runs POCUS workshops for veterinary professionals.

Beyond his clinical work, Joseph actively teaches and mentors veterinary professionals at all career stages. His commitment to ongoing education and patient care excellence makes him invaluable to the veterinary nursing community.
